collapses the score on Rotten Tomatoes, is now under the sufficiency

After an initial 88% response that would have granted them “Certified Fresh” status, new waves of reviews on Wonder Woman 1984 have collapse the score of the film up to below sufficiency.

As witnessed by the site of the famous review aggregator, the film with Gal Gadot now records a 59% tomatometer out of a total of 377 critical opinions, thus reaching the status of “Rotten”. This is certainly a false step compared to the reception reserved by the first chapter of 2017, which had won the critics with a stellar score of 93%, the best of the DCEU.

On the other hand, the response of the spectators is better, for the moment they are rewarding Wonder Woman 1984 with a 74% of Audience Score. On Metacritic, on the other hand, we find another scenario: the average ratings assigned by critics and the public are in fact 60 and 4.0 respectively.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, recently confirmed by Warner Bros. also as director and screenplay for the third Wonder Woman film, the film has been available for just over two weeks in American theaters and on HBO Max. release date is set for next January 28th.

Meanwhile, Jenkins praised Warner Bros for the support she has received on both projects.
