Development

This stage mainly consists of planning and conceptualising a script Old School Gangstas, based off a book, another movie, a true story, or can even be an original concept. After approval, the director works with the writers to come up with a step-by-step outline of the progression of the film. A common mistake is to create a villain equal to the hero. Wrong! The villain should be stronger, faster, smarter and cleverer than the hero. The hero will have to change if he hopes to defeat the villain. If the hero doesn’t change, he can not defeat the villain. The change then becomes a necessary part of the story. Be careful here. Don’t create an arc just for the sake of beating the bad guy. The arc must force the hero to come to terms with a personal flaw. Once the hero overcomes this flaw, he’s ready to go head-to-head with the villain. Don’t make it too obvious he’ll win. Just make it obvious he’s changed and leave the audience in suspense as they wait to see if the change is enough to help the hero defeat the villain.

Pre-Production

In this phase, the key objective is to narrow down options and plan the development of the movie in terms of Old School Gangstas film cast, film crew, and budget. A line manager or production manager is usually hired during this process to create a schedule and manage the budget for the film. Pre-production also includes figuring out the shoot location. HERO VERSUS VILLAIN

Director: Fred Williamson, Production Co: Bargain Basement Productions [US]

The production stage is when the actual practical Old School Gangstas film production work begins. The primary aim is to stick to the budget and schedule, which requires constant attentiveness. The film director works with the cast and crew to ensure that everything goes as planned. Communication is key between all the involved parties.  Director: Fred Williamson, Production Co: Bargain Basement Productions [US] will be producing this film. The writer has to stop playing Mr. Nice Guy with the hero. He isn’t your BFF. He’s your enemy. He’s standing in your way of making it to Hollywood and the only way to move him is to blow him up. Kill his dog. Sleep with his wife. Burn down his condo. Steal his car. Wreck his credit. Kidnap his kids. Bury him alive. Throw him in a cage with a hungry lion. The writer should ask the question, “What’s the worst thing that can happen to the hero?” If the answer doesn’t happen, then the story and the hero fails.

Photography

Old School Gangstas Photography is essentially the most expensive phase in film production. This is because of the salaries owed to the actor, director and set crew, as well as the costs of certain shots, props and special effects, if needed. All the previous stages have been set to ensure the smooth transition of photography. This is where the camera rolls, so it is important for the film director to follow the schedule and remain within the budget. Genre: Action. So if this is the pattern we see over and over again, how can we possibly make it fresh?

Wrap – Old School Gangstas

The period immediately after the shooting ends, when all the cameras are turned off. During this stage of Old School Gangstas, everything gets disassembled and the set is cleared of the cast and crew. All equipment and props must be returned in a functioning order, to the suppliers and there must be an inventory list. And then, almost always, the hero/ine must go in to the FINAL BATTLE to face the antagonist alone, mano a mano.
