Development

This stage mainly consists of planning and conceptualising a script Z (comme Z), based off a book, another movie, a true story, or can even be an original concept. Maybe we meet a frumpy heroine who later comes out dressed to kill in a power suit, briefcase, carrying a latte and ready to take on Wall Street…we hear her address people differently, with more confidence, etc. All done in one pivotal arc scene! This scene should happen at the end or close to the end of Act II. The key to this scene is it should be visual. Don’t have the hero tell us he’s changed, show us.

Pre-Production

In this phase, the key objective is to narrow down options and plan the development of the movie in terms of Z (comme Z) film cast, film crew, and budget. Photography

Z (comme Z) Photography is essentially the most expensive phase in film production. This is because of the salaries owed to the actor, director and set crew, as well as the costs of certain shots, props and special effects, if needed. All the previous stages have been set to ensure the smooth transition of photography. This is where the camera rolls, so it is important for the film director to follow the schedule and remain within the budget. Genre: Comedy. Now, I’m sure in a theater this movie delivered on its primary objective, which was a rollercoaster ride as only Hollywood special effects can provide. Whether we like it or not, there is obviously a massive worldwide audience for movies that are primarily about delivering pure sensation. Story isn’t important, nor, apparently, is basic logic. As long as people keep buying enough tickets to these movies to make them profitable, it’s the business of Hollywood to keep churning them out.

Wrap – Z (comme Z)

The period immediately after the shooting ends, when all the cameras are turned off. During this stage of Z (comme Z), everything gets disassembled and the set is cleared of the cast and crew.
